Workshops and Retreats in The Work as facilitated by Caitlin Frost

I love having the opportunity to share the Work in a workshop or retreat setting.  I offer a one or two day basic introduction to the Work, as well as more general for focused workshops that span experience levels.  Upcoming open registration workshops and retreats will be posted under Event Listings on the sidebar of my website.  I am also available to bring one of my current workshops to your area or organization either as a public/open registration workshop or as a private workshop for a specific group.  Please contact me if you would like to discuss organizing one of the workshops listed below, or if you would like to talk with me about designing a workshop with a specific focus.

I also co-host workshops in facilitation and leadership as part of the Art of Hosting community of practitioners.

Introduction to the Work (1 or 2 day) This one day workshop is a basic introduction to the Work with a focus on identifying and working with the beliefs we hold that keep us from wise action and joy in our work and life.  We work with beliefs around stress, identity; fear and relationships.  Participants learn to identify stressful thoughts and limiting beliefs and work with the 4 questions and turnarounds through group work and supported partnering. This workshop can be offered with a general focus, or can be offered in a group or organization to focus on particular areas of shared interest.

Next offering: April 29th – May 1st in Edmonton, Alberta

The Work for Parents (2-3 day)

This workshop focuses on engaging with The Work as a powerful tool to find your way back to your own unconditional love and wise leadership as a parent. This is not a “How to Parent” class.  Rather than telling you what to do and say to your child, we will dive into identifying and Working with the thoughts and beliefs that cause separation between you and your child; that stop you from speaking and acting in confident, clear and loving ways and that take the joy out of being a parent.  This workshop will support parents of babies, toddlers, children, teens and adults.

The Work and Money (2-3 day)

This workshop offers an introduction to the Work and dives into identifying and working with the beliefs and thoughts we hold about money.  What beliefs and thoughts cause stress and suffering in how we relate to money in our work and life.  What unquestioned beliefs stop us from taking wise action with our money? from having honest, open conversations about money?  From asking for what we need and from offering what we can?  Patterns and beliefs about money can follow us from childhood and through generations in families until we stop to question them and find out what is really true for us.

The Work at Work (2 day)

This workshop offers and introduction to the Work and then focuses on identifying and working with thoughts and beliefs that can limit us in our work/life and teams, groups and organizations.  We will learn how the Work can bring more clarity to working relationships, support clear communication and reduce conflict.  We will also learn and practice how the work can support decision making, fear, giving and receiving feedback in working relationships leadership; working with change and opening space for creativity to flourish.

The Inner Journey with Cancer

This workshop is designed for people touched by cancer now or in the past, whether new to the Work or experienced.

You will learn the process of the Work and move quickly into your own experience and inquiry. You will have the opportunity to experience facilitation and also learn to self-facilitate and support yourself using The Work as a practice in your life and journey.

By working with our stressful thinking about cancer, we have the opportunity to find more peace in our own journey, access our wisdom and learning, give and receive support, engage with decision making and experience our own healing.

This Workshop is for anyone suffering in the story and experience of Cancer – whether it is your own past or present diagnosis; a spouse, family member, friend or co-worker; or if you are a caregiver.

Next offering: October 1 – 2, 2011, Victoria, BC
