Getting Unstuck - Transforming Limiting Beliefs (Bowen Island, BC)

  • Rivendell Retreat Centre Bowen Island (map)

LOCATION: Rivendell Retreat Centre, Bowen Island BC
NEW DATES: March 6-8, 2020

With Caitlin Frost, Certified Coach and Facilitator of The Work.

  • What thoughts keep you from experiencing joy in your life, relationships and work?

  • What fears keep you from compassionate, decisive action?

  • What beliefs stop you from seeing the abundance of options that are available to you?

We can spend our whole lives trying to change other people and the world, thinking things should be different than they are and living out of beliefs that we have never stopped to really question for ourselves.

Stressful thinking, unresolved issues, limiting beliefs and fears can keep us from fully engaging in our lives, our relationships and our work in the world.

Join us for an engaging, powerful and nourishing experience where we will work with the beliefs and patterns that keep you stuck and hold you back.

This retreat is for anyone who wants to take some time to work effectively and compassionately with the places you are finding yourself stressed or stuck, and find more freedom, clear thinking and peace for yourself. You will learn how to use an accessible and effective tool, known as The Work, for both yourself and in working with others.

The Work is a simple yet powerful self-inquiry tool for working directly with your own thinking and limiting beliefs in the places you get stuck and experience stress. As a practice it enables you to resolve issues, shift underlying patterns and access more possibility thinking, peace, clarity and wise action in your life, relationships and work.

I don’t let go of my thoughts, I meet them with understanding and they let go of me.
— Byron Katie

During this workshop, you will learn The Work and have ample time to apply the practice to your own stuck places in both personal and professional life. Through group, partner and individual exercises, as well as personal coaching, we work together to:

IDENTIFY and shift underlying beliefs

ENGAGE with fears that keep you stuck

TRANSFORM conflict and relationship challenges

RECONNECT with your own clarity and intelligence

Caitlin Frost is brilliant in working with people to shift their limiting beliefs. A gifted facilitator, she really supports people to move into areas of their own thinking with curiosity and compassion. Working with Caitlin I have had many “a-ha” moments myself, and I have benefited enormously from Caitlin’s application of The Work in different settings. Caitlin’s also just a tremendous person, and if you have a chance to attend one of her workshops, do it! You won’t regret, and you will be different when you leave!

It is my experience that this Work gives me the opportunity to truly realize for myself, in the most challenging areas of my own life, what I hear from spiritual teachers when they speak and write about peace, acceptance, connection and love. After practicing meditation and yoga for decades, I am still amazed at the multitude of thoughts that arise in my mind, and at how disruptive they can be when they remain unquestioned. I would wholeheartedly recommend this retreat (in the Work) to anyone who is interested in bringing balance, peace and poise from the meditation seat and yoga mat into the other hours of the day and night.
