The transformative practices and exercises that form the base of this program are based in The Work (of Byron Katie) and supported by neuroscience and complexity informed approaches. Based on 20+ years and thousands of hours of experience working with this practice, Caitlin has structured this program to guide participants through inquiry into many of the key underlying patterns of mind that keep us stuck (see below). Personalized and supported through one on one coaching and a small, committed community of practice, participants can identify and engage growth at their own threshold of personal leadership.
THE WORK of Byron Katie is a simple and powerful process for identifying and inquiring into your own limiting beliefs and patterns. As a practice, it provides an effective way to shift the underlying patterns that keep you stuck and cause stress in your life, relationships and work. It enables you to open your mind to greater possibility and to access and grow your strengths, creativity, compassion and resilience, even in the most challenging and uncertain times.
Adapted for a personal leadership focus in complex and challenging times, this powerful practice is used and adapted alongside additional approaches to bring insight and transformative change to key leadership and life patterns.
Areas of Focus
This program offers a thoughtful, impactful design to engage key underlying patterns of mind that can keep us stuck and limit our access to our full capacity and growth. Focussed exercises and practice will enable us to explore many of the following topics. The program design will also be responsive to participant needs.
Topics Include
Understanding our complex human inner system (mind, emotions, reactions and patterns).
Assumptions and bias.
Fear-based thinking that keeps us stuck.
Judgement and being right.
“Those challenging people!”
Authentic and courageous communication.
Failure and success: understanding and shifting faulty criteria.
Growing capacity for uncertainty, change, vulnerability.
Conscious decision making.
Giving and receiving feedback.
Competition and collaboration.
Scarcity mindset “not enough” (time, money…)
